Retail, Residential + Restaurant Development Croydon

This new build mixed-use development, located on the busy Brighton Road, comprises a mixture of A1 Retail and A3 Restaurant uses at ground level, with C3 residential units over. Arranged over five storeys, the building maximises the potential of this landmark ‘gateway’ site; and is a significant enhancement on the buildings that previously occupied the site. 

Owing to various constraints it was a requirement that the development be constructed in two distinct phases; with the small but prominent corner plot being completed in advance of the main building behind.  Working closely with the developer / contractor, Graham Norman, under the auspices of Architects Plus, was the lead architect responsible for the design and planning of the scheme.
