Listed Building Refurbishment Westminster
This refurbishment and change of use of a Grade II listed building provided a new bar at ground and basement levels, with new residential units created over - bringing back into productive use the underutilised upper storeys of this building. Planning constraints required a sensitive treatment of this historical building; in order to satisfy the often conflicting demands of conservation and modern requirements. Working closely with the local planning and conservation officers and other stakeholders Graham Norman, under the auspices of Child Graddon Lewis, was the lead architect responsible for the design, planning and implementation of the scheme.
