Gridshell Structure – Full Scale Prototype Constructed

The realisation of a new generation of elegant yet economical greenhouses for Plantworks Ltd takes a step closer this month with the construction of this full scale prototype, consisting of one structural bay of the finished structure, which has been constructed in a factory location off-site.

The purpose of this test rig is check the structural and cladding system components for ease of assembly and integrity – before it is put into full production; and delivered to site for rapid assembly on pre-prepared bases (in a manner akin to flat pack furniture).
